  • The Internet over Satellite (IoS) solutions must provide seamless and secure Internet connectivity under diverse environmental conditions, including extreme weather, dust, and logistical constraints. The primary technical requirements include:- Connectivity and Performance:β€’ Dedicated and SharedBandwidth Options: Service categories from mini (15 mbps) to large (100-300 mbps).β€’ latency: satellite link latency shall not exceed 600 milliseconds round-trip.β€’ adaptive bandwidth scaling: capability to modify uplink/downlink configurations as required.- network infrastructure and equipment:β€’transportable and fixed installations: includes options for permanent bases, mobile vehicular units, and rapid-deployment emergency systems.β€’ hardware standards: equipment must be itu-approved, ruggedized for field operationsβ€’ power supply integration: support for solar-powered, dc, and ac powerconfigurations.- security and compliance:β€’ data protection and encryption: minimum aes 256-bit encryption for data, voice, and video transmissions.β€’ secure access control: implementation of firewalls, vpns, and user authentication measures.β€’ regulatory compliance: adherence to host country licensing,un policies, and itu global telecommunications standards.- service management and support:β€’ 24/7 network monitoring and incident response: proactive fault detection, diagnostics, and real-time troubleshooting.β€’ service-level agreements (slas): providers must commit to 99.95% uptime, with definedresponse a...
